The cancellation of church should be considered if the temperature is 5 degrees below zero OR if there is a significant amount of snow.

The Minister, Moderator, Head of Property, The Office Administrator, Church Technical Director should discuss and make this decision no later than 6:30 a.m. on the morning of service (or three hours before the event).

If the decision to cancel service is made:

​

1. The Office Administrator to send notification email to the congregation by 7:30 a.m. on the morning of service (or two hours before the event).

​

2. The Office Administrator to place notice on Facebook and FCC website by 7:30 a.m. on the morning of service.

​

3. Minister will notify Organist, Custodial and Music Director regarding the opening of the church (or two hours before the event).

​

4; Technical Director will work with the Minister to provide Zoom alternative service if both agree.

 

5. The Office Administrator will have compensation time during the following week. The amount of time will be determined by the Minister and Board Moderator.
